Kitchen Assistant – The Waterfront Inn

The Waterfront Inn in Westward Ho! are looking for kitchen assistants to join the team.

You will be working under the guidance of our team of Chefs in continuing to provide fantastic food for our customers.

Main responsibilities to include:

• Assisting the Chefs with basic food preparation
• Ensuring the food preparation areas are kept clean and hygienic at all times
• Collecting and washing kitchen utensils, plates and cutlery
• Washing and disinfecting kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
• Making sure all kitchen equipment is properly stored away
• Disposing of rubbish

 

The suitable candidate:

• An understanding of the importance of health and hygiene in a professional kitchen
• An ability to listen and learn
• A flexible approach to work, able to work as a team, and on your own initiative
• A willingness to work hard, displaying energy and enthusiasm at all times
